S(u)ono Corpo

Research into the sound (suono) of the body (corpo) and the movement of sound.

By cleverly inverting the dancer/sound/dance equation,
S(u)ono corpo takes a ‘scientific' look at the relationship
between movement, sound and unawakened emotion.
Based on the principles of science, dance acquires power by becoming sound while rhythms are perceived in the body through an electro-acoustic reading of movement.
The work of S(u)ono corpo stems from a need to reappropriate the body with all its shameful truths, its impropriety and its magnificent, sleeping potential to perceive.
